Some may say that Quezon City is not a pretty much safe place to reside and according to them, it is usually the city wherein crimes and kilings are spotted. NOT! For the information of all, Quezon City holds a great deal of security agencies that provides protection in different parts of the country. One of which is the Camp Aguinaldo.

Camp Aguinaldo is the military headquarters of the Philippine Army and the Armed forces of the Philippines. It is near Camp Crame which is the national headquarters of the Philippine National Police. The camp was named after our first president, Emilio Aguinaldo. January 11, 1935 marked the establishment of the Camp Aguinaldo under its former name Camp Murphy. It was name in honor of Frank Murphy who was the last Governor General of the Philippines. In June 1965, care of Republic Act 4434, Camp
Murphy changed its name to Camp General Emilio Aguinaldo.

Camp Aguinaldo does not only serve as the General Headquarters
of the  Armed Forces of the Philippines, it is also the home of other security agencies such as the Department of National Defense(DND),National Capital Regional Command (NCRCOM),National Defense College of the Philippines (NDCP), Armed Forces Reserve Command (AFPRESCOM), AFP Command and General Staff College (AFPCGSC),Joint Special Operations Group (JSOG) and the Anti-Crime Task Force (ACTAF). Likewise, other institutions such as the Armed Forces & Police Savings and Loan Association, Inc. (AFPSLAI), Armed Forces of the Philippines Retirement and Separation System(RSBS) , Armed Forces & Police Mutual Benefit Association, Inc (AFPMBAI) and Armed Forces & Police General Insurance Corporation(AFPGEN).

This camp is certainly a place to give credit to. What would happen to our country without them? Now who says what? One thing's for sure, these agencies are ready to fully comeback on any danger you report to them 24/7.
