The House that Built Fried Chicken

Today, there are several of Max restaurants scattered in Quezon City alone.  There are also some found in other countries like Hawaii and the United States.  Founded in 1945 by Maximo Gimenez and his wife, Ruby, Max restaurant already specialized in their own special recipe of in making chicken.  Before they started franchising in 1998, the very first Max branch was located at 21 Scout Tuazon, Brgy.Laging Handa, Q.C.  This old structure has been there since 1945 and served as a great place to dine, also because of it's history.  Although it is currently being renovated, the extension serves as the new location for their Max customers.  It is new and modern but there are still some factors that make this branch look antique and very old.  The new and improved first Max restaurant is expected to be opening sometime next year.  

Taking the title as "the house that fried chicken built" is popular for their delicious and juicy chicken that have already become a Filipino favorite.  Focusing in Filipino cuisine, Max not only serves good fried chicken but also other Filipino dishes that are sure to promote the richness of Filipino food.  Max certainly has grown up with most of us, it is like part of our childhood.  Great fried chicken, what more could you want?
